Jamaica Tourist Board Virtual Wedding

The Jamaica Tourist Board partnered with DestinationWeddings.com to host a virtual, symbolic wedding ceremony for couples who had to postpone or cancel their Jamaican,or  other warm weather destination weddings, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism, Hon Edmund Bartlett delivered a special toast for couples who participated in the virtual wedding.

The Phase 3 team was challenged with executing and creating this first of its type Virtual wedding. The creative involved the camera taking the perspective of the couple walking down the aisle at the picturesque location Laughing Waters. Phase 3 provided a 4K production truck with 4 cameras as well as a live drone. We decided to use a steadicam as the main camera for the Virtual Ceremony offering a unique view flowing through the ceremony. The decor & wedding coordination was provided by Mark McDermoth and the Uzuri team.

The innovative Virtual event carried on Zoom, Youtube & Facebook was a great success and exceeded the targets set out by our clients. #loveisnotcancelled
