ISSA/GRACE BOYS & GIRLS TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

In 2013, the ISSA Sports Association came to Phase Three to improve the production level of the championships on television. Despite working with a limited budget, they took the approach of increased camera coverage, more replay angles, enhanced graphics all with the goal of doing better storytelling on the track and on the field.

With an intensive 5 day schedule, it is the largest High School Track & Field Championships in the world, with several events on the track, and on the field happening simultaneously. Phase Three broke the coverage into track and two layers of field coverage and used a team of 50 persons in all areas, with 20 cameras, robust graphics & IT operation, audio and replays.

While achieving several firsts with this production, a major game changer was bringing real time graphics information from the field events. This new approach to the coverage improved the viewing experience for the fans in Jamaica and around the globe. This was a new jewel in the Phase Three sporting repertoire providing production support from 2013 - 2017 staging of the meet.
